Texas’ state senate district 9 is a dynamic, fast-growing area of nearly 700,000 residents of Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant Counties. With a strong, healthy, and diverse economy, Texas state senate district 9 includes well-known landmarks, such as the new Texas Cowboys stadium,  Ranger Stadium, Six Flags over Texas, Nokia Theater, Lone Star Park, the University of Texas at Arlington, Airhogs Stadium, and many others. We also boast a strong system of public schools and quality neighborhoods that I’m very proud of.
As your state senator, I try to keep our tax dollars spent wisely for critical services, like quality education, better crime prevention, improved health care, and a stronger Texas economy. I also work to keep up vital programs for Texas veterans, children, and seniors.
